 Rita R. Clark-Swaner

                FOUNDER/ HEAD OF SCHOOL

She is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. She graduated from Howard High School of Technology, where she majored in public services. After high school, she worked in early education while pursuing her degree in early childhood education. She has returned to school and is working on a dual program studying education administration and government contracting. Rita is big on community involvement and advocacy. As a third-generation educator, it is her mission to one day influence legislative laws concerning education. Rita is also an author, performer, and storyteller. Life isn't always fair, but one thing is for sure: Rita has proven to be strong, bright, and will always fight.

          Ferran Tolston

               DEAN OF STUDENT/ EDUCATOR

Ferran is a native of Wilmington, Delaware, whose mother instilled the values of education, family, and independence. Ferran received her bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Wilmington University, where she also obtained credentials in Child Advocacy. Ferran served several school districts throughout Delaware as an educator and reading / IEP specialist and scored Delaware standardized tests.

          CALVIN BLAND

               EDUCATOR/COMMUNITY LIASON

Mr. Bland hails from Westside Wilmington, Delaware. He began his journey in youth and community service at the age of fourteen, initially serving as a Youth Minister at Freewill Deliverance Ministries. He graduated from Howard High School in 2011. Over the years, he has collaborated with various nonprofits to organize youth and community events, including Network Connect and West Side Grows Together. His guiding principle is: To transform a nation and community, one must begin with the youth. He is thrilled to join the Amazing Minds Academy as a family advocate.

 

   EVELYN GLASCO

                       BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

Ms. Glasco hails from Wilmington, Delaware. She has a deep passion for children, poetry, and her faith in God. Evelyn has finished her education in Health and Wellness. Additionally, she has served as an elder in the Lord's church for over ten years. Her areas of expertise include teaching and women's ministry.
