A mother's quest for better education
Our founder, Rita Clark, envisioned a different path for education. Faced with national reports highlighting Delaware's educational challenges, where it ranks 45th, she saw a significant gap. Particularly with declining test scores and rising absenteeism, American children face educational disadvantages. While only one in five parents expressed dissatisfaction, that single voice represented countless underserved families yearning for more. This ignited the spark for Amazing Minds Academy.
From struggle to triumph: a personal journey
Rita experienced firsthand the disconnect between home and school. Her children, once eager learners, became disengaged, impacting their grades and well-being. As an educator herself, she understood the decline couldn't solely be attributed to the school; the essential home-school partnership was missing. Exhausted and disheartened, she chose a proactive path: leaving her full-time job to become a dedicated teacher and home manager, crafting individualized plans based on each child's unique learning style. This approach transformed her children's moods, sleep patterns, and academic performance, inspiring her to share this success with others.
